WHERE ARE YOU!?

I’ve been getting a lot of those types of messages recently, so it’s about time I proved that I’m indeed still alive and lifting. 🙂

I’ve been conspicuously absent from, uh, mostly everything, however, because I’ve been working hard on one project in particular, which methinks you’ll be fairly excited about . . .

I finished recording the audiobooks for BLS and TLS 3.0.

As I mentioned in my last email update, I’ve been working my way through new third editions of my flagship books for men and women, Bigger Leaner Stronger and Thinner Leaner Stronger.

Well, as of this last Monday at 8 PM, the audiobooks are 100% done. And I’m not going to lie, it was a pain in the ass. Literally.

Every day for a month, I sat for five to eight hours per day reading my books at a snail’s pace, carefully enunciating every syllable and word as if I were explaining to my one-year-old daughter why she shouldn’t try to eat her own poop (video footage to be played at her wedding?).

Anyway, that means the 3.0 manuscripts are DONE and over to the book designer to prepare final print- and publication-ready files!

At this point, I think the digital versions (ebooks and audiobooks) will go live sometime in November, along with the digital versions of The Year One Challenge for Men and The Year One Challenge for Women, which are also being updated.

Hardcopies of all will be right on their heels, so expect a December or January announcement for new paperbacks and spiral-bounds.

Back to the content mines I go.

If you’ve wondered why I haven’t been doing much in the way of writing or recording for the last couple of months, you now know why.

I wanted BLS and TLS 3.0 to be done and out by the end of the year, and that meant I had to basically sperg out and do and think nothing but those projects all day, everyday, seven days per week.

But hey, it worked, and that means I can now get back into the weekly publishing grind, which I’m excited to fire back up.

The launch of The Little Black Book of Workout Motivation was awesome.

In case you missed all of the 2,000+ emails I sent on it (sorry . . . kinda), I have a new book out called The Little Black Book of Workout Motivation.

Honestly, I wasn’t sure what to expect from this project because it’s a radical departure from my normal “how-to-get-fit” material.

I figured it would resonate with at least a few people but was fully prepared for it to limp out of the gate like a tranqed donkey, waddle a few yards, and go down for a nap.

It turns out it was a pretty good idea after all, because the little guy has already sold over 10,000 copies, and the rave reviews have started to roll in (and especially for the audiobook, which I recorded myself!).

Not only that, but my team has chosen the giveaway winners, including the grand prize winner Eric Purcell, who’ll be going an all-expenses-paid trip to D.C. to meet me and the team! Congrats Eric!

“When are you going to release a new flavor of Pulse?”

If I had a nickel for every time I’ve been asked that question, then I’d be be making money in a very odd way.

Seriously though, people are slurping down more Pulse than ever before, so we’re always working on the next flavor, and pink lemonade is the latest and greatest from our flavor lab.
